Turkish security forces captured 11 kilograms (24.25 pounds) of illegal drugs in an anti-narcotics operation in eastern Turkey, official sources said on Monday.

Provincial gendarmerie teams in the Baskale district of Van province found the illicit synthetic drugs in a sack buried in a building, the governor’s office said in a statement.
