Three Hamas members have been killed in an air raid on Gaza Strip, the Israeli army said on Monday evening.

The Israeli military posted a video on Twitter showing a warplane striking a ground target in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

It said three Hamas activists were killed in an air strike carried out in response to “a barrage of rockets fired at central and southern Israel over the past few hours.”

Hamas did not immediately comment on the Israeli army’s statement.

A short while ago, the Palestinian Health Ministry said nine people, including three children, were martyred in the Gaza Strip.
