Juventus Star Kenan Yildiz Wins 2024 Golden Boy Web Award.

Rome: Kenan Yildiz, a Turkish and Juventus winger, clinched the Golden Boy Web award on Wednesday, marking a significant achievement in his burgeoning football career. The award, which is determined by public vote, reflects Yildiz’s growing popularity and strong support from fans worldwide.

According to Anadolu Agency, Italian sports newspaper Tuttosport highlighted the influence of Yildiz’s home supporters, who played a crucial role in his victory. The newspaper noted, “The ‘talent’ of Juventus and the Turkish national team was able to count on the unwavering support of his home fans, always ready to go wild when it comes to voting for one of their stars.” Yildiz secured the most online votes with 33.2%, a testament to his impressive performances and the loyalty of his fanbase.

Yildiz’s accomplishments on the field, including his standout performances at the European Championship and his promising start with Juventus, contributed to his success. The Golden Boy Web award is part of the broader European Gold
en Boy Award, which was introduced in 2003 by journalist Massimo Franchi to honor the best under-21 football player on a European team. The award is presented annually by Tuttosport.

Juventus extended their congratulations to Yildiz, stating, “Well done to all our players, and a special round of applause for Kenan!” Meanwhile, Lamine Yamal, a 17-year-old Barcelona sensation, was awarded the Golden Boy for being the best under-21 football player, highlighting the fierce competition among young European football talents.
