Israeli army says it hit buildings in southern Lebanon used by Hezbollah

ANKARA: The Israeli army said Monday that it struck buildings used by the Lebanese Hezbollah group in southern Lebanon. In a statement, the army said it bombed a building used by Hezbollah members in Mays al-Jabal and another one in Tayr Harfa. It added that its troops also shelled an area near Chebaa with artillery to 'remove a threat.' Hezbollah has yet to comment on the army's statement. Hezbollah and Israeli forces have been exchanging fire since last October amid growing tensions over Israel's offensive on the Gaza Strip, which has killed nearly 33,800 people. Source: Anadolu Agency
