Astana: The 2nd General Assembly of the Alliance of Turkic News Agencies (ATNA), composed of the official news agencies from Trkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan, convened in the Kazakh capital on Thursday. The assembly was hosted by Aina Zadabek, Chairperson of the Board of Qazcontent, Kazakhstan's state media organization. According to Anadolu Agency, key attendees included Anadolu's Deputy Director General and Editor-in-Chief Yusuf Ozhan, Member of the Board of the Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC) Fuad Gadilli, Department Director of the Kyrgyz National News Agency (Kabar) Nurcan Kamaliyeva, Editor-in-Chief of the Uzbekistan State News Agency (UzA) Javlonbek Azizov, Content Director of Hungary's MTI News Agency Istvan Zoltan Toth, and ATNA Secretary General Elshen Shahbalayev. Discussions during the meeting centered on ATNA's institutional development, experience and content sharing among member agencies, and strategies for boosting international recognition. Anadolu Publicati ons and Productions Coordinator Oguz Karakas and Anadolu Strategic Communications and Foreign Relations Manager Bilgehan Ozturk were also present at the meeting. Notably, Anadolu handed over the ATNA presidency to Kazakhstan's Qazcontent media company during the session. In her address, Qazcontent Chairperson Zadabek emphasized the significant responsibility that accompanies this new role.
