3 Civilians Injured in Houthi Shelling in Al-Dhale Province

Al-dhale: At least three Yemeni civilians were injured Sunday in a Houthi attack in the southwestern Al-Dhale province, according to the state-run Saba television. The channel reported that Houthi forces shelled civilians on the Maris-Damt road, resulting in injuries to three individuals.

According to Anadolu Agency, the attack targeted two vehicles carrying civilians who were traveling from the capital, Sanaa. The report did not specify the type of weapon used in the assault, and there was no immediate comment from the Houthis regarding the incident.

Yemen has been engulfed in conflict since the Houthis took control of the capital, Sanaa, and several provinces in 2014. This development prompted a Saudi-led coalition to intervene in support of the internationally recognized government in March 2015.
