Gaza city: Three Palestinians lost their lives and six others were injured in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip on Sunday, signaling a breach of the Oct. 10 ceasefire agreement, sources reported.
According to Anadolu Agency, Israeli forces were responsible for the deaths of two Palestinians in separate incidents, one in Khan Younis in the southern part of Gaza, and another in the Shujaiya-Tuffah area east of Gaza City, as confirmed by medical sources. Additionally, witnesses reported that Israeli forces targeted a UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) building in Jabalia, northern Gaza, resulting in injuries to two Palestinians.
Earlier, a medical source informed Anadolu that a Palestinian man was fatally shot by Israeli forces in the Tuffah neighborhood of eastern Gaza City. Witnesses described that the Israeli forces fired upon tents housing displaced civilians in the area, leading to the man's death.
Further reports indicated that an Israeli drone struck a communications tower on Al-Wehda Street, which is home to several press offices in central Gaza City. This attack resulted in injuries to four passersby.
Palestinian officials have accused Israel of repeated violations of the ceasefire agreement that ended a two-year conflict, which has resulted in over 71,000 deaths, most of whom were women and children, and nearly 171,400 injuries since October 2023.
According to Gaza's Health Ministry, the ongoing violence has claimed at least 484 lives and resulted in 1,321 injuries since the fragile truce was established.
