3 Killed in Military Building Collapse in Leningrad Region

Sertolovo: Three people have been killed following the collapse of a military building in Russia's northwestern Leningrad region. The regional governor, Aleksandr Drozdenko, reported the tragic incident on Tuesday.

According to Anadolu Agency, Drozdenko stated on the Russian social media platform Max that the bodies of three victims were recovered from the debris at the site of the partial collapse of the administrative building in the military unit located in Sertolovo. Specialized equipment is currently being utilized at the site as the investigation into the incident continues.

Earlier, Drozdenko mentioned that he had instructed law enforcement agencies to collaborate with the military in clearing the debris and assisting in the rescue operations for any remaining victims. The incident occurred in the town of Sertolovo, which is located to the north of St. Petersburg. Emergency services units are actively working at the site.
