Gaza city: The Israeli army killed 33 more civilians and injured many others in attacks across the Gaza Strip on Monday, according to medics and local sources.

According to Anadolu Agency, medical sources reported that civil defense teams retrieved the bodies of 10 people from the rubble following Israeli attacks on Al-Nasr Street in Gaza City. In another incident, four people were killed by an Israeli strike on a tent sheltering displaced families in western Gaza City.

The Israeli army also targeted the Zeitoun neighborhood, resulting in the deaths of five people and injuries to several family members. An additional four Palestinians lost their lives in airstrikes in the same area. In the Al-Sabra neighborhood, one person was killed and several others were injured due to Israeli shelling.

Israeli quadcopter drones dropped bombs on homes and residential buildings in the Al-Sabra and Al-Rimal neighborhoods, but casualty information is still pending. The army also targeted the vicinity of Al-Shifa Medical Complex, obstructing access to the hospital in efforts to besiege the area and force residents to flee southward, as reported by the state news agency Wafa.

Witnesses reported that several high-rise residential buildings in Gaza City were struck, causing hundreds of families to flee. Israeli forces continued using booby-trapped vehicles in the Shati refugee camp, where ongoing aerial and ground offensives have resulted in the loss of many civilian lives as part of a plan to fully occupy the city.

In the central Gaza Strip, the Israeli army shelled a tent sheltering displaced Palestinians north of the Nuseirat refugee camp, killing one person and injuring nine others, according to Wafa. A family house in the same camp was struck, leading to the deaths of two individuals. An additional civilian was killed in an airstrike in the western part of the camp.

Elsewhere, an Israeli airstrike in central Gaza killed another Palestinian, while an attack in Rafah, southern Gaza, resulted in the deaths of four Palestinians and injuries to several others as people gathered to collect aid.

The Israeli army has killed over 66,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children, in Gaza since October 2023. The relentless bombardment has rendered the enclave uninhabitable, leading to starvation and the spread of diseases.
