Ankara: A 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck off Papua New Guinea on Monday, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS). The earthquake occurred approximately 191 kilometers (119 miles) southeast of Lorengau in Manus province at around 0853GMT.
According to Anadolu Agency, there were no immediate reports of damage following the earthquake. The region, known for its seismic activity, frequently experiences earthquakes due to its location on the Pacific "Ring of Fire."
