The Department of Meteorology has issued a yellow warning for thunderstorm.

The warning is valid from 1200 until 1800 today.

It says that isolated thunderstorms are expected to affect mainly mountainous, inland and eastern areas. In thunderstorm, rainfall rate may exceed 35 millimeters per hour, while hail is also likely, it adds.
