ISTANBUL: European stocks closed higher on Tuesday except in the UK and France. The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, was up 0.68 points, or 0.13% to finish almost flat at 515.47. Germany's DAX was the best performer of the day, increasing 150 points, or 0.82%, to close at 18,557. Italy's FTSE MIB rose 22 points, or 0.07%, to end at 34,637. Spain's IBEX 35 added almost 69 points, or 0.62%, to finish at 11,212. The UK's FTSE, on the other hand, shed 31 points, or 0.38%, to end the day at 8,167. France's CAC 40 declined 23 points, or 0.31%, to finish the session at 7,598. Source: Anadolu Agency
