ANKARA: Trkiye's benchmark stock index finished Wednesday at 9,984.93 points, a decrease of 0.37% from previous close. After starting the day at 9,929.83 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index lost 36.87 points with a daily transaction volume of 74.5 billion liras ($2.20 billion). The price of an ounce of gold was $526.75, while Brent crude oil sold for around $73.40 per barrel as of 6.15 p.m. local time (1515GMT).
