Doha: The highly anticipated "Legends El Clasico" match between the renowned Spanish football clubs, Barcelona and Real Madrid, is set to take place in Qatar. This exhibition match will be hosted at the Khalifa International Stadium on November 28, coinciding with the eve of Barcelona's 125th anniversary. According to Anadolu Agency, this will mark the third edition of the Legends El Clasico, an event that celebrates the rich footballing history of these two iconic clubs. Notable former players such as Carles Puyol, Ronaldinho, Xavi, and Deco from Barcelona, as well as Iker Casillas, Roberto Carlos, and Luis Figo from Real Madrid, are expected to grace the field. The event is organized by Visit Qatar and enjoys the backing of the Qatar Football Association. The Legends El Clasico has a storied past, with the first match in 2017 seeing the Barca Legends triumph with a 3-2 victory. The second encounter, held in 2021, saw the Los Merengues Legends even the score with a win by the same margin.
