Turkish Stock Market Sees Significant Rise, Closes Up 3.7%.

Istanbul: The Turkish benchmark stock index, BIST 100, closed Thursday at 9,367.77 points, marking a 3.72% increase from the previous close. The index gained 335.95 points from Wednesday's numbers. According to Anadolu Agency, the BIST 100 index experienced fluctuations throughout the day, with the lowest point recorded at 9,069.91 and the highest at 9,380.57. The total transaction volume reached 103.4 billion Turkish liras, equivalent to $3 billion. The exchange rates at 6.15 p.m. local time (1515GMT) showed the USD/TRY at 34.4850, the EUR/TRY at 36.4430, and the GBP/TRY at 43.6070. Meanwhile, gold was priced at $2,665.40 per ounce, and Brent oil was trading at $73.60 per barrel.
