Kharkiv: Ukraine announced on Monday that at least 30 individuals sustained injuries due to Russian airstrikes across various regions, including the northeastern Kharkiv area, which borders Russia. According to Anadolu Agency, Kharkiv Governor Oleh Synyehubov detailed on Telegram that 23 people were injured during a morning rocket attack. Preliminary reports suggest the missiles were launched at the central area of Kharkiv, the country's second-largest city, using an S-400 missile system. Synyehubov stated that 14 of the injured are hospitalized, and over 40 homes suffered damage from the attack. In the southwestern city of Odesa, Governor Oleh Kiper reported a missile attack on civilian infrastructure, affecting residential buildings and two educational institutions. Kiper later confirmed that six people, including a woman in critical condition, were injured in the assault. Elsewhere, in the city of Zaporizhzhia, Governor Ivan Fedorov informed on Telegram about a child injured in the Zavodskyi district d ue to an overnight drone attack, which also damaged a residential area. Fedorov mentioned that several industrial facilities in Zaporizhzhia were hit, and investigations into these incidents are ongoing. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated on X that Russia launched nearly 150 strike drones, aerial bombs, and missiles over ten regions since the previous evening. Zelenskyy emphasized that efforts continue to intercept further aerial threats in Ukraine's airspace. He urged for more decisive actions from Kyiv's partners, including pressure, sanctions, blocking access to components used by Russia for these attacks, and providing arms support to Ukraine. Ukraine's Air Force reported downing 71 out of 145 drones launched over various regions, including Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson. Russian authorities have not yet responded to these claims or the reported attacks.
