France Condemns Israeli Strikes on Gaza Hospitals, Calls for Cease-Fire

PARIS: France has issued a statement condemning Israeli military actions targeting hospitals in Gaza, with specific mention of Kamal Adwan Hospital, which is now non-operational. The French government is urging a cease-fire to address the humanitarian crisis in the region.

According to Anadolu Agency, the French Foreign Ministry expressed its condemnation of the military operations affecting several hospitals in Gaza, emphasizing the situation at Kamal Adwan Hospital. The Ministry called on Israel to adhere to international humanitarian law, highlighting concerns for the hospital's director, patients, and medical staff.

The Ministry reiterated France's stance on Israel's obligation under international humanitarian law to protect hospital infrastructure. The statement also spotlighted the grave humanitarian situation in Gaza, urging all parties involved to strive for an immediate truce.
