Sarajevo: Denis Becirovic, chairman of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Presidency, expressed gratitude to Trkiye on Friday for its unwavering support of Bosnia and Herzegovina's territorial integrity, sovereignty, and independence.

According to Anadolu Agency, Becirovic conveyed his thanks through a social media post following a meeting with Trkiye's Chief Advisor Sabri Demiri in Sarajevo. During the meeting, the two leaders discussed ongoing developments in Bosnia and the broader region. Demiri, representing President Erdogan, reiterated Trkiye's strong backing for Bosnia and Herzegovina's territorial integrity and assured continued support.

The discussions also covered potential enhancements in political and economic relations between the two countries. Becirovic highlighted a recent conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, emphasizing the current challenges facing Bosnia and Herzegovina, particularly the threats posed by the Republika Srpska administration to regional peace and security.
