Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated on Thursday that those who fail to stop Israel's war crimes and genocide in the Gaza Strip will ultimately be held accountable by history and humanity's conscience. Erdogan made these remarks during an iftar, or fast-breaking meal, held in Ankara.

According to Anadolu Agency, Erdogan emphasized that those responsible for the killings, emboldened by the powers they rely on, will "drown in the blood of innocents." He reaffirmed Turkey's unwavering support for the Palestinian people and expressed a strong commitment to being "on the right side of history."

Erdogan accused Tel Aviv of breaking a ceasefire agreement with the Palestinian resistance group, Hamas, that was signed in January. He claimed that Israel has continued its policy of massacre and genocide in Gaza with full brutality. The new attacks launched by Israel on Tuesday have reportedly resulted in the deaths of more than 500 Palestinians, most of whom were children and women, according to Erdogan.
