Turkish President Vows Legal Action Against Economic ‘Sabotage’

Ankara: The Turkish president on Wednesday warned that any attempt to undermine Trkiye's economy or national peace will face firm legal consequences. 'All kinds of attempts to sabotage the Turkish economy, the welfare and peace of the nation will be held accountable before the judiciary,' Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at a parliamentary group meeting of the Justice and Development (AK) Party.

According to Anadolu Agency, Erdogan emphasized the importance of safeguarding the nation's economic stability and social harmony. His remarks reflect the government's commitment to taking stern legal measures against any actions perceived as threats to Trkiye's economic well-being. The president's statement underscores the administration's determination to protect the country's financial interests and maintain national tranquility amidst challenges.
