Munich: Thomas Muller on Saturday said he will be leaving Bayern Munich at the end of the current season, bringing an end to his decorated 25-year career with the German club. According to Anadolu Agency, Muller addressed his departure in a heartfelt post on Instagram. He expressed his continued passion for playing and competing for titles with his teammates, stating, "Even after all these years, regardless of the minutes I play, I still really enjoy being on the pitch with the boys and fighting for titles together for our colors." Despite his willingness to continue in this role, the club decided not to extend his contract for the upcoming season. Muller, who joined Bayern Munich's youth academy in 2000, has had a remarkable career with the team. Throughout his tenure, he won a total of 32 trophies, including two UEFA Champions League titles, two UEFA Super Cups, two FIFA Club World Cups, and an impressive 12 German Bundesliga championships. In addition to his club success, Muller achieved great feats on the international stage. He was part of the Germany squad that won the 2014 FIFA World Cup and contributed significantly with 45 goals and 41 assists in 131 national appearances. Muller also stood out as the top scorer of the 2010 World Cup, netting five goals.
