Antalya: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Saturday held separate meetings with several high-level officials during the Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF) 2025 in the resort city of Antalya. The forum saw Erdogan engaging with leaders to discuss bilateral ties, regional issues, and global matters, with Anadolu as the global communication partner.
According to Anadolu Agency, President Erdogan met with Zeljka Cvijanovic, Chairwoman and Serbian member of Bosnia's Presidential Council, as well as the council's Bosnian member Denis Becirovic and Croatian member Zeljko Komsic. Discussions centered on Trkiye-Bosnia and Herzegovina relations, with Erdogan emphasizing Ankara's commitment to the Balkans' stability and Bosnia and Herzegovina's territorial integrity.
Erdogan also engaged in talks with Bulgarian Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov, focusing on enhancing cooperation, particularly in defense and energy sectors. He stressed the importance of continued solidarity against terrorism and anticipated Bulgaria's forthcoming steps to address this issue.
In a meeting with Sierra Leone's President Julius Maada Bio, Erdogan discussed strengthening ties and ongoing collaboration with African nations, particularly in the defense sector. He reiterated Trkiye's commitment to a "win-win" partnership approach.
The Turkish president also met Sudan's Sovereign Council leader Abdel Fattah al-Burhan to discuss bilateral relations and pledged support for Sudan's reconstruction efforts post-conflict, underscoring Trkiye's dedication to Sudan's territorial integrity.
Erdogan's dialogue with Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa focused on the Israel-Palestine conflict, advocating for a two-state solution and condemning Israeli actions in Gaza. He vowed continued humanitarian support for Gaza.
In talks with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Erdogan expressed optimism about enhancing cooperation and confirmed support for Georgia's territorial integrity, while highlighting the importance of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway Line.
Finally, Erdogan met with Somalian President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud to discuss improving bilateral relations and supporting Somalia's national reconciliation efforts, emphasizing unity and cooperation.
