Turkish President Erdogan to Attend Trkiye-Italy Intergovernmental Summit in Rome

Rome: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Italy on Tuesday to participate in the 4th Trkiye-Italy Intergovernmental Summit, as announced by the country's Communications Director on Monday. The summit will take place in Rome and will be co-chaired by Erdogan and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

According to Anadolu Agency, the summit is set to explore measures to enhance bilateral cooperation between Trkiye and Italy, alongside discussions on regional and global issues. The event will also see the signing of several agreements aimed at fortifying the legal framework governing relations between the two nations. Additionally, a Business Forum is scheduled, involving participation from the business sectors of both countries, as communicated by Trkiye's Communications Director Fahrettin Altun on X.

Erdogan's visit to Italy comes following an invitation from Prime Minister Meloni, highlighting the ongoing efforts to deepen ties between Trkiye and Italy.
