Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Saturday engaged in a phone conversation with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama to discuss bilateral relations, regional issues, and global developments.
According to Anadolu Agency, President Erdogan emphasized the importance of Turkey's friendship and dialogue with Albania, expressing confidence that the cooperation between the two nations will continue to strengthen in the coming days.
Erdogan highlighted Albania's role in hosting the upcoming European Political Community and South-east European Cooperation Process summits, noting that it reflects the country's growing international stature. He also conveyed his best wishes for the success of these summits.
Additionally, the Turkish president expressed his hopes for a positive outcome from Albania's parliamentary elections scheduled for Sunday, wishing the process to be auspicious for the country.
