Gaza: At least 54,381 Palestinians have been killed in Israel's genocidal war since October 2023, the Health Ministry said on Saturday. A ministry statement indicated that 60 bodies were brought to hospitals over the last 24 hours.

According to Anadolu Agency, the statement further highlighted that 284 more individuals were injured, bringing the total number of injuries to 124,054 amid the ongoing Israeli onslaught. The statement also noted that many victims remain trapped under rubble and on roads as rescuers face challenges in reaching them.

Israel resumed its assault on the Gaza Strip on March 18, abandoning a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement that had been in place since January. The relentless bombardment has exacerbated the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, with families being deprived of basic necessities, as reported by the UN and aid agencies.

In November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, citing war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Additionally, Israel is facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice concerning its actions in the enclave.
