Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Jordanian King Abdullah II discussed the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran over a phone call, as reported by Trkiye's Communications Directorate. The conflict began with Israeli attacks on Iranian territories, leading to civilian casualties and the deaths of high-ranking military officers.

According to Anadolu Agency, Erdogan warned that Israel's attacks on Iran are a provocation that could severely impact regional security. He emphasized that the aggressive actions of Israel, under the leadership of Benjamin Netanyahu, present a global issue concerning stability and security.

Erdogan noted that the silence of the global community regarding the occupation and genocide in Palestine has allowed Israel's aggression to reach its current level. He stated that these attacks jeopardize efforts to resolve matters related to Iran's nuclear program.

Erdogan further expressed concerns about the potential threat to civilians and regional and global health posed by any nuclear leakage resulting from Israel's strikes. He urged that the region cannot handle another crisis and emphasized that continuing nuclear talks is the only viable solution to the conflict.

The Turkish President also highlighted that the attacks should not divert attention from the Palestinian cause, urging that it remains a priority in the ongoing regional issues.
