Iran Targets Israeli Air Bases in Response to Recent Attacks

Ankara: Iran carried out a retaliatory strike Tuesday targeting Israeli air bases 'used in the regime's terror attacks on Iranian civilians and infrastructure,' state-run Press TV reported. Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated that the operations will continue in a sustained, complex, multilayered, and gradual fashion.

According to Anadolu Agency, regional tensions have escalated since Friday, when Israel executed coordinated airstrikes on multiple sites across Iran, including military and nuclear facilities. These actions prompted Tehran to launch retaliatory strikes.

Israeli authorities reported that at least 24 people have been killed and hundreds injured in the Iranian missile attacks since the escalation began. In contrast, Iran claimed that at least 224 people have been killed and over 1,000 wounded in the Israeli assault.
