Turkish Official Condemns Israeli Attacks on Iranian State TV

Istanbul: Turkish Communications Director Fahrettin Altun on Monday described Israeli attacks on the Iranian state TV as "barbaric." Altun's comments were directed at an attack on the official news agency IRNA, which allegedly targeted journalists and civilians.

According to Anadolu Agency, Altun voiced his condemnation on social media platform X, referring to the incident as an outright massacre. He criticized the attack on journalists and media personnel, labeling it as barbaric. He extended his condolences to the Iranian journalists who lost their lives in the attack and claimed that the Israeli administration has forfeited its state status due to its alleged crimes.

Altun called for international intervention, urging the global community to act against what he described as Israel's aggression and reckless actions, which he believes are destabilizing the region.
