Alborz: At least 41 people were killed in an Israeli strike on the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) headquarters in northern Alborz province, the group announced Saturday. The IRGC's public relations office stated that the attack resulted in deaths to civilians and conscripted soldiers.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Israeli army confirmed on Monday that it targeted the headquarters of the Basij paramilitary forces, as well as internal security forces in Alborz. This strike was part of a larger conflict that erupted between Israel and Iran on June 13.

The 12-day conflict began when Israel launched air strikes on multiple Iranian sites, including military, nuclear, and civilian targets. These strikes resulted in at least 606 deaths and injuries to 5,332 individuals, as reported by Iran's Health Ministry. Tehran responded with missile and drone strikes, which led to the deaths of at least 29 people and injuries to over 3,400, based on figures from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

The hostilities ceased under a US-sponsored ceasefire, which took effect on June 24, bringing a temporary halt to the violence.
