Istanbul: Trkiye and Djibouti signed an agreement for military cooperation at the International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF) 2025 in Istanbul on Wednesday. The agreement, titled the Protocol on Military Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Trkiye and the Government of the Republic of Djibouti, was signed by Turkish National Defense Minister Yasar Guler and his Djiboutian counterpart Hassan Omar Mohamed.

According to Anadolu Agency, the 17th edition of the six-day defense fair IDEF, which started on Tuesday, is being held at multiple venues, including the Istanbul Fair Center, Ataturk Airport, Wow Hotel, and Atakoy Marina. The event is organized by KFA Fairs with support from Trkiye's Defense Industries Secretariat (SSB) and the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation. Anadolu is serving as the global communication partner for the event.
