Istanbul: Trkiye and Niger signed an agreement for military cooperation on Thursday during the International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF) 2025 in Istanbul. The Military Financial Cooperation Agreement was formalized by Turkish Deputy National Defense Minister Alpaslan Kavaklioglu and Niger's National Defense Ministry General Secretary Sani Kache.

According to Anadolu Agency, the six-day defense fair that began Tuesday is being held simultaneously at the Istanbul Fair Center, Ataturk Airport, Wow Hotel, and Atakoy Marina. The IDEF is organized by KFA Fairs with support from Trkiye's Defense Industries Secretariat (SSB) and the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation. Anadolu is its global communication partner.
