Military Aircraft Crash Claims Lives of Two Officers in Northern Morocco

Ankara: Two military officers were killed Monday when a training aircraft crashed at Fez-Saiss Airport in northern Morocco, the Royal Armed Forces said. A military statement confirmed that an Alpha Jet trainer, which is typically used for pilot training, went down during a routine training mission, resulting in the deaths of both the pilot and his co-pilot.

According to Anadolu Agency, the incident occurred during a training flight, and the circumstances surrounding the crash are still under investigation. The Royal Armed Forces have initiated a special commission to determine the cause of the crash. The investigation will assess potential reasons, including technical malfunctions, human errors, or environmental factors, to prevent future occurrences.
