Aleppo: Syria's transport corridors are set to become active once again, with Aleppo poised to emerge as a significant logistics hub, according to Turkish Trade Minister Omer Bolat. This development was announced during a round-table meeting with Syrian Economy and Industry Minister Nidal Al-Sha'ar.

According to Anadolu Agency, Bolat revealed that Turkish trucks would soon be able to bypass transshipment or trailer changes at the Syrian border, marking a shift towards more streamlined logistics between the two countries. The Turkish trade minister highlighted ongoing modernization efforts aimed at easing border crossings with Syria, a move designed to accelerate bilateral trade and enhance safety.

Bolat expressed confidence in Syria's ability to rebuild, attributing it to the industrious nature of the Syrian people. He anticipated that the impact of this revitalization would be noticeable across various sectors, including industry, agriculture, manufacturing, and services.

Further emphasizing Turkey's commitment, Bolat stated that Ankara is prepared to offer robust support for Syria's recovery, reconstruction, and rebuilding efforts. He projected that Turkish companies, with their experience and expertise, would lead the charge in transforming Syria's landscape, particularly in manufacturing, infrastructure, banking, and construction.
