Didim: The Grammy Award-winning group Gipsy Kings by Andre Reyes filmed a new music video at the ancient Temple of Apollo in Didim along the Turkish Riviera, one of antiquity's most iconic landmarks. Amid the Aegean temple's mystical ambiance, the group delivered a performance blending Flamenco, Rumba, pop, and Latin rhythms in their signature style.

According to Anadolu Agency, the group's founder Andre Reyes expressed his enthusiasm about the venue, stating, "Singing and filming a music video in such a unique venue as the Temple of Apollo was truly an enjoyable experience for us." Reyes also announced that, as part of their Trkiye tour, they will perform in several cities including Izmir, Bursa, Istanbul, Samsun, Ankara, Antalya, Mersin, and Gaziantep this September and October.

Reyes emphasized that the energy of the people is the true source of their inspiration while performing. "It's their love for our music. That's what keeps us going every day. The moment we feel most alive is when we're on stage. Every time we come to Trkiye, we feel at home, and that means a lot to us," he shared.

Reyes described their music as a blend of tradition and the future, stating, "It's heartfelt. Our music speaks directly to the heart, no matter your age. Our family is our root - without them, what we play wouldn't be authentic. If we have come this far, it's because we're a family that lives music in every aspect of life."

Formed in 1978 by members of a nomadic community who fled Spain during the 1930s civil war and settled in southern France, the Gipsy Kings rose to global fame following the release of their self-titled album in 1987. As their popularity grew, the group began adapting English-language songs into their unique style of Catalan Rumba, earning acclaim for renditions such as "I've Got No Strings," "Hotel California," and "My Way."

The band has garnered five Grammy Award nominations and won numerous accolades, including with their albums "Love and Liberte" (1993) and "Savor Flamenco" (2013).
