Gaza city: Israeli airstrikes on homes and tents, which housed displaced families, resulted in the deaths of at least 64 Palestinians across the Gaza Strip, medical sources reported on Wednesday. Among the deceased were seven members of a single family.

According to Anadolu Agency, four individuals were killed when Israeli forces shelled Palestinians awaiting aid near the Netzarim Corridor in central Gaza. Additionally, twelve more people died in an Israeli airstrike targeting a family home in the Zeitoun neighborhood of southeastern Gaza City.

Israeli shelling near an aid distribution site in the northern Gaza Strip claimed the lives of 11 people. In a separate incident, five Palestinians were killed in an Israeli strike targeting a civilian gathering near the Al-Tuwam junction in the northwestern Gaza Strip.

Further casualties occurred when four Palestinians were killed, and dozens were wounded by Israeli fire on those waiting for aid southeast of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza. An Israeli strike on al-Thani Street in the Sheikh Ridwan neighborhood of northern Gaza City resulted in the deaths of three individuals and injuries to several others.

In Gaza City's Old Town, an Israeli strike killed a Palestinian woman and her daughter. Seven family members, including five children and a woman, were killed, and others injured when their tent in Tel al-Hawa was hit by an Israeli strike.

Other fatalities included a Palestinian waiting for aid near Netzarim and another in the Morag area in southern Gaza. In the Al-Saftawi neighborhood of northern Gaza City, Israeli forces killed eight Palestinians and wounded 18 others involved in securing aid operations.

In northern Gaza, six members of an aid security group were killed in an Israeli strike targeting them in the Al-Sudaniya area. Israel is facing increasing condemnation for its actions in Gaza, where it has been accused of a genocidal war, resulting in over 61,700 deaths since October 2023.

Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its actions in the enclave.
