Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Thursday declared that attempts to destabilize the region will not succeed and that those he referred to as "imperialist and Zionist bloodshed perpetrators" will not achieve their objectives.
According to Anadolu Agency, Erdogan made these remarks at a ceremony in Ankara dedicated to the allocation of public institution positions for the relatives of martyrs, veterans, and veterans' families. He emphasized that Trkiye's principled and compassionate stance, which offers hope to the oppressed, has caused discomfort among oppressors and their allies. He stated that these adversaries no longer conceal their hostility, and their grievances have become more pronounced in media and politics.
In his address, Erdogan criticized what he termed the "massacre network" led by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, accusing it of daily assaults on a country without restraint or humanity. He underscored Trkiye's long-standing historical presence and contribution to the region, asserting that Trkiye has been a key player for over 2,000 years and will continue to be a stabilizing force.
Erdogan affirmed Trkiye's role as a historical power that brings order and justice, declaring, "We are neither guests nor occupiers in this region; we have been its hosts for a thousand years and will remain here until the end of time." He stressed Trkiye's capacity to counteract any plots against it with wisdom and calmness, calling for unity and solidarity among the nation's 86 million citizens.
He urged his compatriots to remain united regardless of ethnicity, sect, or lifestyle, promoting a message of tolerance and empathy. Erdogan also highlighted the importance of honoring the families of martyrs and veterans, describing them as sacred trusts of the nation and the state. The ceremony, held on Veterans Day, served as a testament to this commitment.
