China and North Korea to Deepen Cooperation, Says Premier Li

Pyongyang: Chinese Premier Li Qiang emphasized the importance of deepening cooperation between China and North Korea during a meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Li stated that both countries should work together more closely in international and regional affairs, as reported by the state-run Xinhua News Agency.

According to Anadolu Agency, Premier Li conveyed greetings and best wishes from Chinese President Xi Jinping and extended congratulations on the 80th anniversary of the founding of North Korea's ruling Workers' Party. He highlighted China's readiness to enhance high-level exchanges and strategic communication with North Korea.

Premier Li expressed China's willingness to further their traditional friendship with North Korea and strengthen cooperation on practical matters. He urged both nations to coordinate closely on the international stage and promote a more just and equitable international order.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un reiterated the importance of consolidating friendly ties between the two countries. He stated that maintaining these cooperative relationships remains a priority for the DPRK, regardless of the international situation. Kim also expressed North Korea's eagerness to engage in high-level exchanges with China and promote collaboration across various fields.
