Ankara: Trkiye, maintaining its commitment to aid the people of Gaza, continues its humanitarian relief operations as coordinated by the state Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD). This effort is supported by various government bodies, organizations, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

According to Anadolu Agency, since October 2023, Trkiye has successfully dispatched 101,725 tons of aid to Gaza through a combination of 16 ships and 14 aircraft. In the period from July 27, 2025, to now, 333 trucks loaded with humanitarian supplies have been able to enter the region. AFAD shared on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal that these operations have gained momentum following the initiation of a ceasefire last week.

The agency reported that 100 truckloads of humanitarian aid, coordinated by AFAD and contributed to by the Turkish Red Crescent and other domestic NGOs, have been delivered in collaboration with the Egyptian Red Crescent. These deliveries were transported from El Arish to the Karem Abu Salem border crossing.

Looking ahead, additional shipments from Trkiye are scheduled for Monday, comprising 17 truckloads of food, three truckloads of blankets, and Turkish tents. AFAD reiterated its ongoing collaboration with all relevant institutions, organizations, and NGOs to address the humanitarian needs in Gaza.
