Moscow: Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on Monday warned that the possible delivery of Tomahawk cruise missiles to Kyiv could 'end badly,' saying their launch would require the participation of American specialists. Peskov addressed reporters, emphasizing that handling complex weapons systems such as the Tomahawk would inevitably involve US personnel, a point also highlighted by Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council.

According to Anadolu Agency, Peskov stated that any expert, even with minimal knowledge, would understand and be aware of this situation. Medvedev further argued that supplying the missiles to Kyiv could have serious consequences for all parties involved. He highlighted the challenge of distinguishing nuclear-capable Tomahawks from conventional missiles during flight, asserting that the missiles would be launched by the United States rather than by Kyiv.

The Kremlin spokesman's remarks reflect Moscow's longstanding concerns about the transfer of advanced weapons to Ukraine.
