Proceeds from Trkiye-Georgia Football Match Ticket Sales to Support Gaza

Izmit: The Turkish Football Federation announced that the ticket revenues from the Trkiye-Georgia match, held in Izmit as part of the 2026 FIFA World Cup European Qualifiers Group E, will be donated to the people of Gaza. This decision comes in response to the humanitarian crisis faced by the residents of Gaza due to ongoing conflicts.

According to Anadolu Agency, the federation issued a statement on its website expressing its commitment to aid the people of Gaza. The statement read, "The Board of Directors of the Turkish Football Federation has decided to donate the ticket revenues from tomorrow's Group E match between Trkiye and Georgia to the people of Gaza, who are enduring a humanitarian tragedy. We once again condemn this genocide taking place before the eyes of the world and call on all our fans to stand united in support of our national team at Kocaeli Stadium, where the match will kick off at 21.45."

The match, which is a part of the 2026 FIFA World Cup European Qualifiers, is scheduled to take place at Kocaeli Stadium. The federation has urged fans to attend the game in support of both the national team and the initiative to assist Gaza.
