Ulsan: Three workers lost their lives, and two remain unaccounted for after a boiler tower collapsed at a power plant in southeastern South Korea. The incident occurred on Thursday at the Ulsan branch of Korea East-West Power, a state-run utility.

According to Anadolu Agency, firefighting officials reported that the bodies of two workers were recovered from the debris, while another individual was pronounced dead while trapped. Efforts are ongoing to locate the remaining two missing workers, though there are concerns that they may not have survived.

The accident initially trapped nine individuals, believed to be subcontractor employees. Fortunately, two of those trapped were rescued and are reported to be in good condition. The 60-meter (196.8 feet) tower was in the process of being dismantled using explosives at the time of the collapse.
