Istanbul: An Istanbul court has issued arrest warrants for 37 individuals, including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, on charges of crimes against humanity and genocide. These charges are related to events in the Gaza Strip and the seizure of the Global Sumud Flotilla vessel last month.

According to Anadolu Agency, the warrants were issued at the request of the Istanbul chief public prosecutor's office. The office stated that the systematic genocide and crimes against humanity allegedly committed by Israel in Gaza have resulted in the loss of thousands of lives, including women and children, with many more injured and significant damage to residential areas.

In other developments, the United States has removed Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa from its Specially Designated Global Terrorist sanctions list. The US Treasury Department announced the removal, which also includes Interior Minister Anas Khattab, following a UN Security Council resolution to lift the sanctions.

Additionally, the UN has reported a significant increase in illegal Israeli settler attacks against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, marking the highest monthly toll in nearly two decades. Citing the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, UN spokesperson Farhan Haq highlighted the increase in both frequency and severity of these attacks, with 264 incidents recorded in October alone.
