Ankara: Trkiye's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Defense Minister Yasar Guler, and intelligence chief Ibrahim Kalin are set to visit Islamabad next week to address escalating tensions between Afghanistan and Pakistan, as announced by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

According to Anadolu Agency, Erdogan disclosed the plans during a conversation with reporters on his return flight from Azerbaijan. He also mentioned ongoing preparations to send containers from Trkiye's earthquake-stricken regions to Gaza, emphasizing the critical importance of delivering supplies to the area. Erdogan highlighted that this effort is not just about aid, but a fundamental issue of humanity.

Erdogan remarked on the positive developments following Azerbaijan's victory in Karabakh, noting that Trkiye is aligned with Azerbaijan in pursuing the normalization process with Armenia. He also addressed the situation in Sudan, stating that Turkey is committed to continued diplomatic efforts to foster peace and security, refusing to be a passive observer.

Additionally, Erdogan shared insights from his recent discussions with US President Donald Trump. He mentioned that there have been affirmative developments concerning the F-35 fighter jets and expressed optimism that the commitments made during these talks will be honored.
