Ankara: Trkiye has dismissed allegations made by certain Indian media outlets that have linked Ankara to terror attacks in India. The claims, which suggest that Trkiye provides logistical, diplomatic, and financial support to terrorist groups, have been described as part of a disinformation campaign intended to harm the bilateral relations between the two nations, according to Trkiye's Center for Combating Disinformation (DMM) on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal.

According to Anadolu Agency, Trkiye has reiterated its firm stance against all forms of terrorism, regardless of the perpetrator. The DMM emphasized that Trkiye is at the forefront of global anti-terror efforts through active international cooperation. It highlighted Ankara's active support for the UN Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy and its significant role in shaping NATO's counter-terrorism policies.

The DMM categorically denied any involvement in "radicalisation activities" targeting India or any other country, labeling such claims as disinformative and lacking factual basis. It stressed that these baseless and manipulative reports are aimed at undermining Trkiye's efforts for global security, stability, and peace. The DMM urged the public to disregard these allegations.
