Gaza: The Israeli army killed two Palestinians in the Gaza Strip on Friday, marking a violation of a ceasefire agreement that has been in place since last month. An Israeli military statement indicated that its forces shot dead a Palestinian man in southern Gaza for reportedly crossing the 'yellow line,' a buffer zone delineating areas under Israeli control from those relinquished under the ceasefire, effective since October 10.

According to Anadolu Agency, a Palestinian woman was also killed in the northern city of Beit Lahia, an area under Israeli army control, as confirmed by Civil Defense spokesman Mahmoud Bassal in a statement. The report highlights that Israeli forces consistently target Palestinians who approach, even if they do not cross, the 'yellow line' in areas where movement is permitted.

Gaza's government media office reports that the Israeli army has killed at least 242 Palestinians and injured 620 others since the ceasefire. Additionally, since October 2023, Israeli forces have killed more than 69,000 people, primarily women and children, and injured over 170,000 others in attacks on Gaza.
