Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index began Tuesday at 10,669.47 points, marking a decline of 0.27%, or 28.66 points, from the previous session's close.

According to Anadolu Agency, the BIST 100 index had climbed by 1.25% on Monday, reaching 10,698.13 points with a daily transaction volume of 138.3 billion Turkish liras, equivalent to $3.26 billion. As of 9.50 am local time (0650GMT) on Tuesday, the exchange rates were recorded at 42.3460 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 49.1425 to the euro, and 55.7550 to the British pound.

Additionally, the price of an ounce of gold was reported at $4,014.40, while Brent crude oil was trading at $63.35 per barrel.
