Gaza: Five Palestinians were killed and 30 others injured in a new wave of Israeli strikes on Wednesday, in a further violation of last month's ceasefire deal, medics said.

According to Anadolu Agency, Gaza Civil Defense reported that the Israeli attacks targeted areas where its forces had withdrawn under the ceasefire agreement.

The Israeli army confirmed striking Al-Mawasi in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, claiming that it had responded to gunfire targeting its forces in Rafah, as reported by Army Radio.
