Trkiye’s President Erdogan Welcomes South Korean Counterpart in Ankara

Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday welcomed his South Korean counterpart, Lee Jae Myung, in an official welcoming ceremony at the Presidential Complex in the capital, Ankara. The event was attended by high-ranking officials, including Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar, Trade Minister Omer Bolat, Communications Director Burhanettin Duran, the president's chief advisor Akif Cagatay Kilic, among others.

According to Anadolu Agency, following the welcoming ceremony, Erdogan and Lee, who is currently visiting the country, proceeded to a bilateral meeting. This engagement is expected to strengthen relations and foster cooperation between the two nations. After the meeting, an agreement signing ceremony will take place, symbolizing the commitment to collaborative efforts. The two presidents are also anticipated to hold a joint press conference to discuss the outcomes of their discussions and the agreements reached.
