Moscow: The Russian Defense Ministry announced that an Angara-1.2 carrier rocket has successfully deployed military satellites into their designated orbits.

According to Anadolu Agency, the launch occurred on Tuesday at 16:42 Moscow time from Plesetsk Cosmodrome in the Arkhangelsk region. The lightweight-class Angara-1.2 carrier rocket, operated by a combat crew of the Aerospace Force's Space Forces, carried satellites intended for the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The ministry reported that the launch and the subsequent deployment of the satellites into their calculated orbits proceeded without any issues. The Angara-1.2 rocket was monitored by ground-based automated control systems throughout the process. At the predetermined time, the spacecraft were deployed into their target orbits and taken under control by the Aerospace Force's Space Troops.

Stable telemetry connections have been established with the satellites, and their onboard systems are reported to be operating normally.
