Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index, BIST 100, opened Tuesday at 10,928.23 points, marking an increase of 0.37% or 40.21 points from its previous closing value.

According to Anadolu Agency, the BIST 100 had experienced a decline on Monday, closing at 10,888.02 points, which represented a drop of 0.32%. The daily transaction volume for Monday was recorded at 135.6 billion Turkish liras, equivalent to approximately $3.21 billion.

As of 10.00 am local time (0700GMT) on Tuesday, exchange rates were observed at 42.4590 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 48.9855 to the euro, and 55.7020 to the British pound. In the commodities market, the price of an ounce of gold stood at $4,145, while Brent crude oil was trading at $62.30 per barrel.
